Service Description

We provides the unique opportunity for students everywhere to learn Carnatic Vocal music from the convenience of their own home through a highly structured curriculum, a clear path for progression, and certifications for completion. Students who are new to us start with the first course in each of the levels, depending on prior experience. Entry into any level will require new students to take and pass the assessment for the prior level. In this session we discuss : Two main elements of carnatic music , which are Raga (Ragam) and Tala (Thalam). Introduce Swaras Two main and basic elements for a raga; the Aarohanam (the ascending notes of raga on the scale) and the Avarohanam (the descending notes of raga on the scale) Discuss 'Sruti' the soul of Carnatic music Basic vocal exercises Q&A and more details about us with an understanding of the next steps for enrollment Required: Students will need a computer, tablet, or smart phone, and an internet connection.
