Lucy Learning is an online learning platform for Kalabhavan UAE, an authorized franchisee for Kalabhavan Kochi. We are offering extra curricular activities to the Indian Community in UAE since 2001.
Lucy Learning will be a separate legal entity operating from Kochi serving its customers across India and abroad. While our sister concern is offering conventional class room based activities, we will be focusing similar products but exclusively through our online platform.
We believe that supporting a child’s inclination to learn new things aren’t “additional” or extra they are essential to all-round development. Nurturing interests outside the world of academic equips children with essential life skills. We want the children who sign up for classes to find something that interests them, and wish to pursue it whole-heartedly. Designed for learning minds, our courses are ideal for children who are passionate about specific areas and want to develop their skills.
How different Lucy is from conventional learning
Realization that technology is going to rule the education industry and future is ‘E-Learning’, edutech companies globally invested in acquisition of small and innovative E-Schools and LMSs. This preparation had helped many education institutions to switch to hybrid and online learning during the pandemic in 2020. We all learned too many lessons during covid season and tasted the easiness of online education even for extracurricular activities. We will be focusing only on such courses and activities which are already proven suitable and physical or regular classroom lessons are not required completely. After speaking to several parents, we realized that there is a much larger need to provide high-quality courses that focus on the holistic and all-round development of the child, beyond just academics. With a strong team of curriculum designers, pedagogy experts and education consultants, we embarked on this vision to build an online-first, global academy for extracurricular learning for kids. Dynamic and results-oriented education specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in supporting education policy and programs for various educational institutions in GCC countries. Strong project management skills as well as excellent abilities as a communicator, partnership and relationship builder and strategic and innovative thinker. As a specialist in children’s extracurricular activities, he has developed an innovative e-learning solution to manage online lessons especially in music, dance and art. Lucy learning will be his first UAE based business initiative focusing online after-school activities for the kids aging from 5 to 15 years
